The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) supports Proposition 9, the constitutional amendment that will ask Texas voters to approve funding for a cost-of-living adjustment for eligible TRS annuitants on the November 2023 General Election ballot.

TRTF supports efforts to pass Prop 9, as they align with our organization’s mission to provide resources for retired TRS annuitants.

The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping active and retired school personnel with their financial needs. We offer four programs to assist these needs, and we designate more than $90,000 per year towards public education.

Our Mission:

The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that works to provide resources for retired TRS annuitants, as well as active school personnel. The Foundation helps educators of the past, present, and future by supporting four charitable programs and an endowment fund.

Our Vision:

Texas Retired Teachers Foundation shall work to solicit and increase funds for programs set forth by the Board of Trustees. Sources of revenue will continuously be pursued to meet program goals and the establishment of a permanent and growing endowment for the “A Helping Hand” program.
