TRTF Board President Jamie Larson presents a plaque to long-serving trustee Dr. William "Corky" Pence.

TRTF Honors Dr. William "Corky" Pence

The Texas Retired Teachers Foundation (TRTF) recently honored long-serving trustee Dr. William "Corky" Pence for his many years of service to the Foundation.

Corky began his first term on the board in 2007. His final term will expire on June 30, 2016. Dr. Pence likes to say that he has had "about four or five retirements." His multifaceted career includes 20 years in the army, 27 years teaching, and 47 years coaching.
